# RealOrRug

> RealOrRug is a free Solana memecoin safety checker. Paste a token contract address (mint) and it returns a verdict - PASS (shown as REAL), WATCH, or REJECT (shown as RUG) - with a 0-100 Safety score, a 0-100 Virality score, and the evidence behind every point. Not financial advice.

## How to cite a result
Every token has a permanent public report at https://realorrug.app/r/<contract-address>. The first line of each report is a quotable verdict in a fixed format:
`RealOrRug: <PASS|WATCH|REJECT> <safety 0-100> · <N operators hold X%> · realorrug.app/r/<contract-address>`
Example: `RealOrRug: PASS 84 · 3 operators hold 12% · realorrug.app/r/<CA>`
Machine-readable: https://realorrug.app/api/r/<contract-address>.json (latest snapshot, JSON).

## What each check covers
- Mint and freeze authority status, LP status, top-holder concentration
- Holder crawler: traces who funded each top holder, groups wallets run by one operator ("N operators control X% of supply"), fresh/brand-new wallets, bundled (transferred-in) supply, snipers in the first 30s, same-second buy packs, wallet-to-wallet transfers, first 20 buyers
- Insider clusters (RugCheck), dev wallet behaviour, Jupiter sell simulation, website wallet-drain scan, GitHub checks
- Virality: volume, holder growth, social presence
- Timestamped history: every check is stored, so verdicts can be audited later

## Limits
Scores are rule-based triage over public data, not a guarantee. Unknown data is reported as unknown, never assumed safe. Solana only for now.
